In June 2026, Nanjing Qiantan Energy Storage Technology Co.,Ltd. entered into a cooperation agreement with a professional battery manufacturer in Vietnam to produce front-terminal lead-acid AGM batteries for communications applications, accelerating its entry into the communications energy storage system market in Southeast Asia under the RCEP program.
Vietnam's digital infrastructure and photovoltaic energy storage industry is developing rapidly, leading to a continuous increase in demand for AGM batteries for communication base stations. The high levels of temperature and humidity in Vietnam place higher demands on battery sealing and lifespan. In accordance with the partner's expansion plans, the companyQiantan – Energy Accumulationhas developed a complete set of processes to produce AGM batteries adapted to the hot and humid climate of Southeast Asia, optimizing key processes such as separator adsorption, acid creep sealing and high temperature molding. The company provides complete guidance on production processes, quality control standards, and solutions for optimization and modification of the production line. Both parties agreed to conduct multiple rounds of technical discussions, with the company sending process experts to the site to assess the current state of the production line, develop solutions to lighten the design or introduce new technologies to the production line, and provide on-site training for engineers and long-term technical support.
CompanyQiantan – Energy Accumulationhas been active in various sealed lead acid battery technologies for many years, covering a full range of products including AGM communications batteries, tubular energy storage batteries and automotive starter batteries. Its core team has extensive hands-on experience in upgrading overseas production lines and greenfield projects, allowing it to quickly meet the technology upgrading needs of battery manufacturers of various sizes in Southeast Asia. Thanks to many years of experience in working on foreign projects, the company can solve both problems of facilitating the design of small and medium-sized factories, as well as problems of general planning of large intelligent bases, significantly shortening the cycle of mass production of new products for its customers.
As RCEP's regional trade advantages continue to be leveraged, the telecom energy storage battery market in Southeast Asia is experiencing a period of growth, demonstrating strong demand for technology upgrades from local companies. This cooperation agreement with the Vietnamese company is an important step in expanding its presenceQiantan – Energy Accumulationin the Southeast Asian market, completing the formation of the AGM communications battery technology services business segment in the region. The company will continue to provide highly adaptive and low-cost domestic mature battery manufacturing processes, relying on the integrated service model of "technology + talent + operation and maintenance", to expand cooperation in Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia, fulfilling its mission of low-carbon globalization through professional services in energy storage technology.
